Overview: Silver and fine grain silver have high conductivity and thermal conductivity, low and stable contact resistance, easy processing, and good welding performance. Fine grain silver has higher strength and temperature resistance than silver under almost the same contact resistance conditions because of the addition of a small amount of nickel in silver. Therefore, its resistance to fusion welding and arc burning is better than silver.
