Product Details
Overview:
Cadmium oxide particles are uniformly dispersed within the silver matrix. Under the action of the electric arc, the cadmium oxide undergoes vigorous decomposition and evaporation, cooling the contact surface and thereby reducing arc energy and extinguishing the arc. As a result, the material exhibits high resistance to welding, excellent resistance to electrical erosion, and low contact resistance. Increasing the cadmium oxide content can enhance the material's resistance to welding; however, it also leads to an increase in contact resistance and temperature rise, while simultaneously reducing the material's ductility.
